DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES- $3,500 Signing Bonus

The Children’s Study Home is dedicated to providing trauma-informed therapeutic and educational services to diverse children and families, building the foundation for lifelong success at home, school, and the community.

We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to oversee the human resource functions through policies, procedures, and practices which include, but are not limited to recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefit administration, workers compensation and training.  The Director of Human Resources leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowermentquality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. She/he coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the CEO; Serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises agency managers on Human Resources issues.



Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and demonstrated experience in Human Resources to include employment law, compensation, organizational / strategic planning, employee relations, safety, and training and development.  This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5-7 years progressive experience (Masters and previous non-profit management experience preferred); good organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); and experience working within a team environment with the ability to provide leadership and direction to a department.
