Advocates is looking to hire a Benefits Coordinator! Ideal candidates will be customer service-oriented, a team contributor with exceptional communication skills, ability to actively problem solve, attention to detail and organization. This creative thinker will perform well under deadlines and maintain a high degree of confidentiality within our Human Resources department.
This role is hybrid, with 3 office days per week.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain various employee benefit programs
- Entry of data for benefits transactions
- Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of benefits premiums and billing, investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations.
- Respond to employee benefits questions
- Conduct benefits informational sessions
- Scheduling employee wellness events and assisting in other benefits and Human Resource support tasks as needed.
- Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
- Attend and actively participate in all trainings as assigned.
- Adhere to all principles related to the Advocates Way.
- Ensure that individuals are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates Human Rights Policy.
- Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Strictly follow all agency Performance Standards.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or High School diploma/ GED plus 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources, customer service, or similar.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Must be detailed oriented and have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to be productive in a fast pace deadline driven environment.
- Ability to interpret personnel policies, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and interact effectively with agency management and staff.
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to work in team atmosphere, as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain a professional approach and handle confidential materials.
