Description

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking a full time, part time, per diem, Residential Counselors/Direct Care Staff for its residential youth program in Wilmington, MA.

Our residential programs work with youth who are in need of temporary out-of-home placement. Residential Counselors/Direct Care Staff provide support and supervision which includes life skills support,  social and interpersonal skill development and community engagement. The goal is to provide youth with mentoring, guidance and to demonstrate positive role modeling so they may elect healthier choices to and learn new skills to use upon their discharge from the residential program.

Hourly Rate : $20.00/hr

Overtime opportunities available.

Residential Counselors/Direct Care Staff are responsible for:

  • Day to day operations of the milieu.
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Supervision of residents.
  • Crisis intervention if needed.


Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with adolescent population preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license.
