Hiring Range: $175,000 – $225,000
Sunshine Village is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking President & Chief Executive Officer to lead a respected and mission-driven organization serving the Greater Springfield community. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned senior executive - whether from human services, healthcare, education, business, or another complex organizational environment—who is ready to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will provide strategic leadership, strengthen community engagement, and ensure operational and financial excellence across employment supports, community-based day, and day habilitation programs, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and those on the autism spectrum.

Key Leadership Responsibilities
The President & CEO will:
Lead strategic planning and organizational growth with a balanced focus on mission, people, and performance.
Guide and mentor a talented senior management team, fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, families, funders, and local and state leaders.
Ensure financial strength and sustainability through effective planning, resource management, and stewardship.
Serve as a visible and credible ambassador for Sunshine Village, advocating for inclusive opportunities across the region.
Ideal Candidate Profile

A bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred).
Significant experience in senior management or executive leadership roles within a complex, multifaceted organization.
Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing budgets, executing strategy, and driving organizational performance.
Strong community-relations skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Experience working with or alongside state or federal agencies (e.g., DDS, MassHealth, SourceAmerica) or CARF-accredited organizations is beneficial but not required.

Requirements
