Quality Management Nurse - Part Time

In this vital role, Quality Management Nurse will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting the many different Riverside programs with the goal of continuously improving quality across every Riverside division, for all persons served. We look for teammates who are knowledgeable and engaging trainers, can work independently, and have great attention to detail.
The Quality Management Nurse will:
conduct on-site chart reviews in our group homes for individuals that have intellectual/developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries
investigate complaints or issue related medication administration in our licensed Medication Administration Program (MAP) sites
review, revise, and create health policies for all programs
be the School Nurse (mostly in a remote capacity) for our Riverside schools
Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week
flexible hybrid schedule; must be available for weekly Tuesday QM team meeting 10-11:30 a.m.
10 hours/week can be remote, and 10 hours/week will be out in the field at one of our programs conducting audits, MAP retraining, or supporting investigations into complaints
Pay Rate: $45.00/hourly

Required Skills
Ability to offer guidance to nurses and other employees on Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensure as a Registered Nurse required; must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing
Three to five years of nursing experience
Experience with training
Completion of the MDPH approved MAP Train the Trainer program
