School Clinician - Somerville Outpatient Center
The Somerville Outpatient Center has approximately 45 employees and serves over 1200 children, adolescents and adults. We are seeking a clinician to join our small team of outpatient therapists who are embedded in the Somerville Public School system. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in a culturally sensitive, empowering, and respectful manner in busy public school settings (K-12) with a diverse student population.
The position involves:
Providing culturally-competent individual counseling for a multicultural student population
Maintaining contact with families and school staff, as appropriate
Maintaining regular communication with the program’s leadership
Attending regular meetings with other school-based outpatient therapists
Completing all required paperwork in our electronic health records system in a timely manner

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
This position involves both school-based and office-based work.
 
Pay Rate:
Unlicensed Clinician - $61,800.12/salaried
Independent Licensure - $64,890.17/salaried

Required Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Enthusiasm to learn and integrate technology into the work environment, including providing therapy via video conferencing
Moderate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
Master’s degree in a clinical mental health discipline, independent licensure preferred
One year of experience specific to the clinician’s training and expertise required.
Child and Adolescent Needs Assessment (CANS) certified
