- Staffing Coordinator - Guided Personal Supports

Job Type: Full Time, On Site
Schedule: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
Payrate: $27 to $29 Per Hour
Are you passionate about connecting people with the services they deserve? Northeast Arc is looking for a Staffing Coordinator for our Guided Personal Supports Program! The Staffing Coordinator interviews, selects, and orients new GPS per-diem direct support staff for assigned Department of Developmental Services (DDS) contracts and coordinates schedules to meet the incoming needs of new referrals.
Major Responsibilities:
- Interviews, selects, and orients all staff to meet the incoming needs of new referrals.
Collaborates with Program Director, Adult Autism specialists and Program Coordinator on caseload assignments and staffing schedules. Communicates regularly with Program Director in anticipation of needs for staff hours and locations.
Communicates hiring needs and submits appropriate requisition forms to Northeast Arc talent acquisition team
Provides ongoing support to staff, overseeing and ensuring timely completion of all documentation e.g., progress notes, timesheets, trainings.
Develops and maintains weekly Staff Newsletter including but not limited to sharing community events, discounts, agency news, continuing education about autism and developmental disabilities, and program information.
Provide 1:1 direct service as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or related field required
- Experience Working in the Human Services field
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Physical Demands: Requires someone to sit for extended periods of time, talk on the phone and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of the day.
About the Program: The Guided Personal Support (GPS) Program is made up of a combination of SSQUAL contracts (Enhanced Family Support for Adults) from the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) that focus on preparing individuals on acquiring skills in different aspects of their lives to be more independent and live their best life.
