Description
The mission of FCR is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all survivors of trauma, including those impacted by domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse, bereavement, and other causes. FCR is a community based non-profit agency and is seeking a passionate, creative, motivated, flexible person to provide case management within our Rapid Re-Housing Program. The Rapid Re-Housing Program provides case management, advocacy and support around housing issues for survivors fleeing domestic violence or those at imminent risk of homelessness due to domestic violence.
Responsibilities
- Case Management
- Advocacy
- Coordinate supportive housing services for survivors referred to the program
- Facilitate housing focused groups for program participants
- Data and file entry
- Community outreach
Requirements
Requirements
- Must have cultural awareness, experience in working with diverse populations and a passion to bring about social justice and change
- Bachelor's Level or commiserate experience in a human service field
- Experience working in a housing or domestic violence program setting
- Must be able to multi-task and have excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid Ma driver's license and access to personal vehicle required
- Candidates bilingual in Haitian Creole, Spanish or Portuguese required
