Salary: $63,835 - $80,828
We are looking for a collaborative team player to join our diverse group of clinicians. The Outpatient Forensic Clinician will provide Mental Health and Substance use Comprehensive Assessments for those involved local court systems. Outpatient Forensic Clinician will provide outpatient mental health and substance use treatment to those ages three throughout the lifespan. Individuals must have strong documentation and diagnosing skills and history working with those in the justice system. There is a prefrence for inderpendent licensure, however, license eligble candidates with strong backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Provide mental health and substance abuse evaluations to adults involved in the court systems
- Provide individual evidenced based outpatient treatment to individuals aged three throughout the lifespan
- Work closely with our intake department to ensure timely access for evaluations
- Collaborate with legal system such as probation and parole departments
- Must have strong writing and documentation skills
- Maintain up to date client records including written evaluations, treatment plans, quarterly reviews, termination summaries and progress notes in accordance with division and regulatory timelines
- Advocate for client’s needs within the program as well as with external agencies.
Requirements
- MSW degree or MA in related field from an accredited college/university.
- One year of experience working within an outpatient setting.
- Educational and/or professional experience pertaining to forensic mental health counseling.
- Strong computer knowledge. Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medical necessary clinical services.
- Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
- Excellent written skills and ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the program/programs to which assigned.
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.

- Must have valid driver’s license and access to an operational and insured auto.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
